This basic meditation class is based on the teachings of original Buddhism which covers the Four Foundations of Mindfulness and Anapanasati (mindfulness of breathing). During the hour, we will share Dharma talks from Venerable Master Jing Guang, teach basic meditation techniques including mindfulness. The aim of this mediation class is to learn how to have peace of mind, integrate the Buddha’s teachings into your daily life, have the right view of the reality of life, and to transcend the conditions that lead to sufferings in this life.
The class is conducted in Chinese at the New Meditation Hall every Sunday from 10:15am to 11:45am (starting from 15 May 2022).
Please follow the following guidelines if participating:
- wear comfortable meditation clothes,
- turn off your mobile phone,
- wear face mask,
- no late arrival and early departure, and
- observe noble silence.
