The Ru Yi Pond is surrounded by a footpath where one can practice walking meditation or enjoy a relaxing stroll while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Chinese Buddhist Garden and an amazing view of the various wild and aquatic life that live in or within the vicinity of the Temple. Futhermore, the pond is composed of a white bridge, pagoda and pavilion that are constructed from Chinese white marble and this gives it an exquisite oriental feel. There is also a statue of the Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva (Guan Yin) and blends in majestically with the picturesque scenery.
Vajra Waterfall
The calming sound of the water from the Vajra Waterfall reminds us of the impermanence of phenomenal, alerting us to detach from the materialistic world that we live in. It is just like a Wisdom Diamond Sword that can cut through our deluded mind and purify the Three Poisons: Greed, Anger, and Ignorance.
